Taiga Motors and Aqua superPower Partner to Accelerate Electric Marine Adoption

July 24, 2025 by Newsdesk

Montreal’s Taiga Motors has announced a strategic partnership with Aqua superPower, marking a major step forward in the electrification of marine and off-road recreation. The alliance aims to accelerate access to fast, reliable charging infrastructure for Taiga’s growing lineup of electric powersports vehicles, including personal watercraft and snowmobiles.

“This partnership is about unlocking the full potential of electrification,” said Sam Bruneau, CEO of Taiga Motors. “By joining forces with Aqua superPower, we’re making it easier for individuals and fleets to go electric—especially in high-volume settings where the sustainability impact is multiplied.”

Aqua superPower operates the world’s first fully marinized global network of dockside DC fast chargers for electric boats and watercraft. Its platform, currently spanning 59 sites across North America and Europe, offers seamless plug-and-play compatibility with Taiga vehicles and others. Backed by a 24/7 support team, the network is powered by a proprietary cloud-based platform that ensures reliability and uptime for marine operators and customers.

Taiga customers will benefit from a range of charging solutions that go beyond public infrastructure. From home chargers to fleet-site systems and onboard yacht integration, options range from Level 2 to ultra-fast 250 kW DC chargers, customizable to fit diverse use cases and vehicle types.

The partnership addresses a key barrier in the EV transition—charging infrastructure—by combining Aqua’s technology with Taiga’s demand growth. Karen Gill, COO of Aqua superPower, described the collaboration as a way to overcome the “two-sided market challenge” of electrification.

“Infrastructure must often lead the way—but by aligning deployment and demand, we’re accelerating both sides of the equation,” Gill said.

Founded to transform high-performance recreation, Taiga has vertically integrated electric vehicle development to deliver extreme performance at competitive prices. Its products serve both recreational adventurers and commercial operators looking for low-emission alternatives.

With this partnership, both companies are betting on a future where sustainable exploration on snow and water is not only possible—but convenient.
