Readers of CleanEnergy.ca are already aware that Canada’s climate technology ecosystem is set to take centre stage next month at Converge 2025, a national gathering designed to connect entrepreneurs, investors, and industry leaders across the clean innovation sector.
Host NorthX Climate Tech notes that itinerary of Converge 2025, building on a successful 2024 edition, will highlight the urgency of scaling breakthrough solutions (“Scaling Climate Tech with Urgency and Purpose“) and advancing Canada’s strategic sectors (“The Multiplier Effect: How Climate Tech is Powering Canada’s Strategic Sectors“).
“We are increasingly looking for solutions that balance bold climate action with economic prosperity,” reads a mission statement of the event. “We’ll explore how Canada can lead at the intersection of climate, technology, and competitiveness: How do we scale breakthrough solutions? Build resilient industries? Turn urgent challenges into global advantage?”
This week, NorthX unveiled veteran climate investor David Yeh as the keynote speaker for Converge 2025.
Yeh, a former White House executive in the Obama administration and Founder of Precursor Earth, will participate in a fireside chat that explores how first-of-a-kind projects can succeed in a complex new era.
The one-day event takes place on November 19th with activities ongoing from 10am until 6pm, with Yeh’s 45-minute chat scheduled to follow welcoming remarks at 1pm.
NorthX Climate Tech was formerly known as the BC Centre for Innovation and Clean Energy.
