Foresight Announces Finalists for 2025 Atlantic Cleantech Awards

Foresight Canada has unveiled the finalists for the 2025 Atlantic Cleantech Awards, recognizing companies and individuals driving innovation across Canada’s East Coast.

The annual awards celebrate achievements across multiple categories, showcasing the region’s leadership in sustainable innovation and clean technology advancements.

This year’s awards feature finalists in five categories:

Adopter of the Year

Recognizing organizations that have demonstrated leadership in integrating cleantech solutions into their operations.

  • Finalists: Oxford Food Group, Group Savoie, Lafarge Canada, City of Summerside, and Fort Folly First Nation.

Cleantech Supporter of the Year

Honoring individuals and organizations that provide critical support to cleantech ventures through advocacy, policy, and ecosystem development.

  • Finalists: PEI Cleantech Academy, Belledune Port Authority, econext, Eric Cook of PEI Bioalliance, and Dalhousie University.

Funder of the Year

Acknowledging investors and funding organizations that have made a significant impact on advancing cleantech innovation.

  • Finalists: Invest NS, Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA), New Brunswick Innovation Foundation (NBIF), Nadarra Ventures, and Carbon to Sea.

Scaleup Venture of the Year

Recognizing high-growth cleantech companies demonstrating significant market traction and impact.

  • Finalists: SENTRY, PLAEX Building Systems, Aruna Revolution, CarbonRun, and Climative.

Startup Venture of the Year

Highlighting early-stage cleantech innovators with strong potential for impact.

  • Finalists: Cytochrome, BlueGrid Energy, pHathom Technologies, Awtij Energy, and PhyCo Technologies.

The Atlantic Cleantech Awards take place on April 14th at Cable Wharf in Halifax. Register now for free to attend.

The Atlantic Canada Cleantech Awards are presented by Foresight and Bloom Funding with support from Bonsai Growth, Springboard Atlantic, and the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency (ACOA).

Foresight has partnered with Smart Energy Halifax to have the Atlantic Canada Cleantech Awards kick off their conference.

Smart Energy Halifax brings together industry experts, thought leaders, and innovators from across the region to explore the latest developments in the smart energy sector. Ventures interested in presenting at the conference can apply for the Smart Energy Pitch Challenge until April 9th.
