Canadian cleantech startups looking to boost their market presence can now access free, expert-led marketing training through a new national initiative.
Digital Marketing Skills Canada (DMSC) is offering fully-funded enrolment in three tailored training programs designed to transform marketing from a cost centre into a growth engine.
The initiative targets professionals at every level—from junior marketers to senior executives—and is particularly relevant for cleantech firms seeking to scale in an increasingly competitive digital economy.
“Innovation alone isn’t enough,” says DMSC in the program announcement. “To disrupt traditional industries and stand out, cleantech leaders need the digital skills to drive awareness, growth, and adoption.”
Participants must be Canadian citizens or eligible to work in Canada and have at least three years of professional experience. Depending on their background and career goals, applicants can be matched with one of three courses:
- Jelly Academy (10 weeks): Focuses on digital marketing fundamentals for junior marketers and small business owners.
- Growclass (6 weeks): Offers advanced growth strategies for founders and mid-career professionals.
- Canadian Marketing Association (7 weeks): Provides strategic leadership training for senior marketers and executives.
All courses are delivered online and aim to equip cleantech companies with the marketing capabilities needed to scale impact in sectors like energy, manufacturing, and agriculture.
