The Emissions Reduction Theatre at Global Energy Show Canada 2025 being held in Calgary from June 10-12 will be hosting discussions and presentations from leaders in methane emissions reduction, providing attendees with insights into the technologies and strategies that are reshaping the industry.
A new Methane Impact Innovation Award is also being introduced at the event this year to recognize companies that are leading the charge in minimizing methane emissions across the energy sector. GHGSat from Montreal is a leader in high-resolution satellite emissions monitoring. With the world’s largest fleet of satellites dedicated to methane detection, GHGSat provides rapid and accurate data that can pinpoint methane emissions at their source. Their technology enables governments, industries, and financial institutions to quickly address emissions, contributing to the acceleration of global decarbonization efforts.
Based in Pouce Coupe, B.C., Forefront Energy’s Zero-Methane Technology Portfolio provides a comprehensive solution for eliminating methane venting at well sites.
