Swift Charge is expanding its partnership with InnVest Hotels, bringing electric vehicle charging infrastructure to more than 70 hotel locations across Canada.
The Canadian EV charging network announced that InnVest, Canada’s largest hotel owner and operator, is scaling up its Swift Charge deployments following a successful initial pilot across 12 properties.
The broader rollout will include more than 300 chargers across InnVest’s national portfolio, with installations underway or completed in Alberta, Ontario, Quebec, and Atlantic Canada.
The announcement follows Swift Charge’s recent rollout of EV charging installations across Alberta and the Rockies, where the company added chargers at hotels and travel destinations including properties in Banff, Jasper, Whitecourt, Drayton Valley, Slave Lake, Fox Creek, Stony Plain, and Edmonton.
Together, the two announcements point to Swift Charge’s growing focus on hospitality and destination charging, a key part of supporting EV adoption as more Canadians travel longer distances in electric vehicles.
“We are excited to continue our roll-out of EV chargers with Swift, a Canadian based charging platform,” said Ryan Vader, Senior Asset Manager & Corporate Impact Chair at InnVest. “We see great value in scaling our EV offering to all travelers across the InnVest portfolio from coast to coast. We expect to outfit all hotels by the end of 2026.”

“We’re proud to support InnVest as they expand EV charging across their portfolio,” said Sheldon Zhang, CEO of Swift Charge. “Our focus is on delivering a dependable, hotel-tailored charging experience that works consistently across a wide range of locations and operating environments.”
For hotels, EV charging is becoming an increasingly important guest amenity as more drivers look for reliable charging options at overnight stops and travel destinations. Swift Charge said the rollout will help meet growing demand for destination charging by improving access for EV drivers travelling across Canada.
